Here we will be studying the phenomenon of spirituality in art, not for "artists" but for everyone, as a way of healing history. As Keifer says, we don't do history very well; if our history were an airplane it would crash.
Thus art is not just a hobby for rich dilettantes, but an economically justifiable medicine for the mental and physical woes caused by the hurts of history. We don't know how art, money and life fit together. As with all classes offered here, we are investigating, not pontificating and we do not necessarily agree with any of the lecturers, we're simply listening. The University Guide Book is under construction and hopefully will contain 12-16 Klee paintings, functioning as a cheat sheet.
